Frx File Reader Software Microsoft FRx 6.7 SP10 - McKesson Pathways 9 v.6.7 HF1 An industry-leading, automated financial reporting and analysis application Microsoft FRx is an industry-leading, automated financial reporting and analysis application for small and midsize businesses, large corporations, and divisions of global enterprises. 'I'm currently transitioning from VB 6.0 to VB.Net 2005. I tried to convert a relatively simple application from 6.0 to 2005, but the conversion engine failed almost immediately. The reason is that one of my five forms doesn't have an *.frx file associated with it. Without an *.frx file, the conversion engine won't convert it. Nevertheless, the VB 6.0 program runs very well, but certainly causes no crashes when this form is loaded and used. Considering it is the most used form of the five, I find this odd. I tried adding various controls to the form to see if they forced an *.frx file to be generated, but no luck. MSDN was useless in finding an answer. Anyone have any ideas? An explanation as to under what circumstances an *.frx file is generated would be helpful as well, but my priority is just to get one generated. Thanks in advance, Rob '. The FRX files contain the all graphics that are required to the controls on your forms. For instance, when you put a picture in your picturebox control, the actual image is stored in the.frx file -----Original Message----- I'm currently transitioning from VB 6.0 to VB.Net 2005. Frx File With Company InformationThanks in advance, Rob. Try removing the form from your project, save the project, then add it back, save, ctrl-F5 to run it. You might want to see where the.frx is being created at - might be in a diff directory if the.frm is actually in a diff directory. Oh, and do make sure that the form's.show method or some other proc in the form is being called from elsewhere in the program. > From: [email protected]> To: [email protected]> Date: Thu, 27 Sep 2007 18:59:29 +0000> Subject: [visualbasic-l] VB 6.0 Missing.frx File?> > > > I'm currently transitioning from VB 6.0 to VB.Ne t 2005.
